About Waterside Antiques
Waterside Antiques was established in 1986 by Graham Peters (my father) who owned it until 2005 when I took over. I have been interested in antiques most of my life. I started restoring furniture for my father at the age of ten; from then on my interest grew from restoring to collecting, then dealing. I have a keen interest and deal in anything old or collectible.
The centre’s huge success is largely down to the friendly and honest service that has been provided since it was opened in 1986. Originally built as a malting's in the late 1760s, the building has had many uses since, including as a morgue during the Second World War (we do have a resident ghost).
Waterside Antiques is the largest antiques centre in East Anglia; it has a floor space of 10,000 square feet with more than 80 antiques dealers. There are 20 free parking spaces immediately outside the centre with a further 100 free spaces less than 150 yards away.
Waterside Antiques stock items to suit all needs and pockets from Wade figures to 10ft high Armoires.
